Donor Brick Floors ....... $75.00 each
The entry and reception areas will consist of brick floors.
Each brick will bear an engraving of the donor who purchased it
or a memorial to a deceased pet or loved one. The engraved area
on each brick is limited to three lines of information at 30 spaces per line.
Park Bench (5) ....... $200. each
Picnic Table (4) ....... $400. each
Children's Play Area ....... $1,200.
Memorial Gardens (3) ....... $5,000. each
Donors can have a room named after themselves, a family business,
or in memory of a favorite pet or person. Such donors will be honored
with an engraved plaque noting their generosity at the entry of the room they fund.
Cattery (2) ....... $3,500. each
Each cattery will be a carpeted kitty wonderland, complete with overstuffed couch,
cat perches, snuggle beds, climbing trees, tunnels, scratching posts, litter boxes,
drinking fountains, toys and a television. Each cattery will have two floor-to-ceiling
glass walls so that the cats will be able to see out into the courtyard and watch
as wild birds and squirrels visit the feeders and fountains. Cats will be able to bask
in the sun or chase raindrops from a safe, cozy room. Each cattery will hold 10 to 12
social cats with a separated kitten area for juveniles under 1 year of age.
Dog Kennels/"Den Areas" (100) ....... $800. each
In these thoughtfully designed dog areas, individual "dog dens" are set up to reduce
stress by avoiding eye-to-eye contact among dogs while providing a warm, comfortable
nesting place. These dens are 9' x 6' inside and feature radiant heated floors, raised beds
complete with comforters and pillows and toys. Every dog also has their own food and
water bowls and a dog door leading to a 9' x 6' fenced outdoor exercise area fitted with
a partially covered porch to shield them from the sun and other natural elements.
This design allows each dog an individual area of 18 feet long by 6 feet wide!
Classroom ....... $11,000.
Main Office ....... $5,500.
The classroom and main office areas will provide a wide range
of information on low-cost spay/neuter programs, training and behavior counseling,
pet selection advice and networking opportunities with other rescues and shelters.
The classroom will also contain a computer, tv/vcr/dvd, educational movies
and a wide variety of books and pamphlets on pet health, training, breed-specific information,
lessons on compassion and responsible pet ownership.
Kitchen/Break Room ....... $7,200.
The kitchen/break room will be fully equipped with all appliances necessary
to provide staff and volunteers a place to eat meals and take breaks.
Here a separate refrigerator will house veterinary medications and serums.
Linen/Laundry Room ....... $5,500.
The linen/laundry room will have a full size washer and dryer as well as
storage cabinets for fresh linens, blankets, pillow and bedding for the animals.
Records Room ....... $1,200.
The records room will have several large filing cabinets to store medical records,
ans intake and adoption information on every animal entering the facility.
This will enable the staff to keep accurate files on every animal in our care
and follow up on animals after they have been adopted to ensure that they
are doing well and are properly cared for in their new homes.
Pet Spa/Therapy Room ....... $10,000.
The spa/therapy room will provide therapeutic hydro-massage for pets with
hip dysplasia, arthritis, post operative conditions or other ailments that would
benefit from hydrotherapy. Partnerships with professionals who do therapeutic
massage, animal chiropractic and physical therapy may also become a possibility.
Security ....... $5,000.
The facility and its grounds will be protected by a state-of-the-art security system
equipped with monitors and a direct police and fire connection. This will insure
the safety of the staff, volunteers and rescued animals.
Food Storage/Supply Rooms (2) ....... $2,000. each
Two large food storage/supply rooms have been designed with loading docks and
roll-up doors for receiving pallets of food, blankets, crates, litter, fencing and
other needed supplies to maintain optimal living conditions for all the animals.
Living/Play Rooms (2) ....... $4,000. each
These rooms will be set up like actual living rooms in a home. Complete with
couches, chairs, televisions and toys, they are the perfect meeting area for a family
to really get to know the prospective animal they want to adopt. In these quiet,
comfortable settings, adopters can get a better idea of the animal's temperament
in a home-like environment. Adopters will also be encouraged to use our grounds
to take a walk with their dog of choice, to make a well thought out decision.
Dog/Cat Nursery Rooms (2) ....... $3,500. each
These nursery rooms are specially designed for pregnant mothers and their babies,
nursing mothers and/or orphaned babies that need to be bottle-fed around the clock.
In an isolated and quiet room filled with warm comforters and sofe music, there precious
infants and their mothers can be properly nurtured and cared for.
Dog/Cat Isolation Rooms (2) ....... $5,000. each
The isolation rooms are required by state law to separate any new animal coming in
to the facility for a quarantine period of no less than 10 days. During this time,
the animal is examined by a licensed veterinarian, brought up-to-date on shots and
administered any medical treatment needed to restore health. The animal is also
behavior-tested, bathed, photographed and admitted into the system so it may be
placed for adoption when ready. These rooms have a special ventilation system so that
any airborne germs, disease or virus the new animals may have are contained and do not
reach the healthy population. Isolation rooms may also be used to care for animals
needing special attention and monitoring.
Dog/Cat Bathing Rooms (2) ....... $2,000. each
The bathing rooms are equipped with deep grooming/bathing tubs, dryers and all necessary
equipment to properly clean and maintain hygiene for all animals in the facility's care.
Dog/Cat Exam Romms (2) ....... $4,700. each
The examination rooms are equipped with a sterile environment for veterinary examination
of all the animals. The rooms will have light boxes to read x-rays, steel-top examination
tables, first aid supplies and other necessary items to proprely conduct preliminary
examinations of the animals and to treat routine ailments.
