How do I adopt a Shar-Pei from DCSPR, Inc?

Albert
Hi. My name is Albert. I am a 4 year old, chocolate dilute, neutered brush coat male Pei. I was found as a stray and picked up by animal control. I kept waiting for my owners to reclaim me, but they never did. Lucky for me, the nice rescue people picked me up. I love being outside and playing with my stuffed toys. I am looking for a home without where I can be the “only child”. I am housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. If you’re looking for a forever friend, then send in your application & ask for Albert!Sponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
Rojo
Hi, my name is Rojo and I am a 45lb, red, horse coat Pei.  I was found as a stray and my owners never came to get me. Lucky for me, rescue picked me up. They told me they would help find me a forever home. I have been neutered, had my eyes corrected & even micro-chipped. All I need now is a forever home! I am very smart & playful. I like to chase tennis balls and play with my toys. I am very protective of my family and would do best in a home without a lot of comings and goings.  Well, I’ve got to run! Bark at ya later! This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, alteredSponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
   Reina
Hi. My name is Reina & I am a petite, 3 year old, sable, horse coat Shar-Pei. I will sit nicely for treats and LOVE  to play with my squeaky toys. I was turned into the shelter with my “pei mate” Prince. Our owners told the shelter they didn’t have time for us anymore.  Boy were we sad!  Then one day a nice rescue lady came & picked us up. She told us to just be patient because our “forever” home would arrive shortly. I sure hope she’s right…
I tend to “boss” Prince around sometimes so I would be best in a home with a submissive male and without small children. Well, I’ve got to run now.  I think I hear the treat jar.  Sponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.

Grey
My name is Grey.  I’m a 40 lb, fawn, horse coat, male Pei. Everybody says I look like a Greyhound so that’s how I got my name!  My foster mom says I’m about 5 years old. I’m very sweet and when picked up and carried, I’ll drape my arms over yours, looking like a little kangaroo. I’m crate trained, house trained and sit nicely for treats.  I would probably do OK with older children, but I prefer to be an only pet.  I would make a great running partner for someone as I enjoy exercising.  I have been in rescue for so long; I wish someone would give me a chance at a forever home…If you’d like to give me a try, please send in your application! This pet is: up to date with routine shots, altered, not good with other dogs or small childrenSponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
Skye
My name is Skye. I am a 4 year old, cream, brush coat female Pei.  I was turned in to the shelter because my owners were told they couldn’t have me in their apartment.  I was with a family that had 3 small children and I did very well with them. My foster Mom has taken me to obedience training and she said I did excellent! I don’t really care for other dogs, so I need a home without other pets. If you would like more info about me, please contact my foster Mom at [email protected]This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, altered, not good with other dogsSponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
Buster

Hi! My name is Buster. I am a 2-3 year old, fawn, horse coat, neutered, male Pei. My owners went through a divorce and I was caught in the middle. So, now I am looking for a forever home to call my own. I am house broken and crate trained. I am slowly learning what toys are. I am a very sweet boy. The vet couldn’t get over how nice I was. I sat so nice while they gave me shots, took blood & I even let them cut my nails with no problem! If you’re looking for a Pei mate, please fill out an application & ask for Buster Brown!Sponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
Lee Ping
Hi. My name is Lee Ping. They think I am about 3 years old. I am a petite, fawn, horse coat, male Pei. I was found as a stray in VA. Lucky for me, the nice rescue people took me in just in time! My foster Mom says I am the happiest little guy and I love to give kisses. She said I was an angel at the vet. I even let them give me a bath with no problems! We did get some bad news, I tested positive for heartworms. YUCK! My foster mom said not to worry, they will take me to the vet to get rid of those nasty varmints & I will be as good as new. If you’re looking for a special Pei to be your forever friend, send in your application and ask for Lee Ping!Sponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
 Schezie
Hi. I am a 6 year old, 48lb cream, brush coat, female Pei. I was found wondering the marina with a male Pei. A nice man took us to his house & called rescue to help. My Pei brother has already found his forever home, but I’m still waiting… I am great with other dogs and am currently being fostered with another female Pei.  My foster Mom does hair in her house & I just love to get petted by her clients.  I am housebroken and have even learned how to use the doggie door.  My favorite thing is sunning myself in the backyard!  If you are interested in giving me a forever home, please send in your application! Thanks! This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, alteredSponsor This Pei! Please enter this dog’s name in the “payment for” field on the next page.
